However, we have great fun playing live and take massive pride in what we do. The band has seen many changes over the past four years and for the first few months, it was difficult to know who or what we wanted to be, but we knew we had to be different from the rest. It is our fans who have always pointed us in the right direction and it wasn't long before we realised that what they wanted was good, funky, dance tunes - and no other era had it better than the seventies, so this is where we started. The response from the audience was overwhelming. " I haven't heard that song in ages " they'd say, or " You guys have just taken me back to my youth ". That's when we realised we had found our niche. Of course it's not all about the seventies. We like to put our own twist on contemporary material too. Our sound is always evolving and the set list ever changing. We guarantee you have not heard classic disco funk, and modern hits played like this before and to fully appreciate Dave Cant Dance, you have to see us live.
